How it works?

One class period, no prep.

Your students read, speak, and write, and forget they're learning French.

Step 1

Choose a case

Browse the catalogue by level and theme.
Every case matches a specific level, from Novice to Advanced.

Step 2

Print the student sheet and teacher guide

Before class, the teacher prints the student sheet and the teacher guide. The exercises are projected on the board, but each student writes their answers on their own sheet. The teacher guide includes an English translation of every slide, plus the answer key for all exercises.

Step 3

Launch the case on the board

Project the slides in class. The cinematic atmosphere pulls students straight into the investigation.

Step 4

Students investigate in French

Students work through the exercises, unlocking clues as they go and piecing together the solution. The teacher can have them share answers out loud or let them talk it through together.

Step 5

The class solves the mystery

Each student writes down their answer: who, where, how. The teacher reveals the culprit and reviews with the guide.
