THE CREATOR

I'm not a teacher but I've sat in enough classrooms to know that
a great story can make learning feel like play.
I'm from France. I came to Billings, Montana to improve my English and to fill my days with something meaningful. A French teacher at a local high school gave me the chance to help in her classroom. I said yes.
One day, I noticed a list of vocabulary words on the board, words the students had to memorize by the end of the chapter. And a thought came to me, simple and clear : I want to create a game.
Then another thought followed: why not weave those vocabulary words into it ? What if the words weren't something to memorize, but something to discover, hidden inside a mystery ?
I've always been drawn to stories. To visual design. To the feeling that something beautiful can also be meaningful. So I built a mystery case, ready to play in one class period.
We tested it. At the end of class, the students had used most of the vocabulary words and actually remembered them. The teacher smiled.
That's when I realized, I had combined everything I love into one thing. Stories. Design. Language. The thrill of the unknown. Bonjour Mystery was born.
" Every student remained focused, motivated, and eager to participate until the very last minute of class. The game naturally encouraged meaningful communication while reinforcing vocabulary, grammar, cultural knowledge, and problem-solving skills.
